How to randomize a list in Google Sheets

In this short post, we’re going to look at how to randomize a list of names. For example, a teacher may want to change the order of a group of students.

First, select the cells you want to randomize.

Then right-click on the range and then click View more cell actions > Randomise range.

Alternatively, you can go to Data > Randomise range.

This randomises the order of the cells.

This can also be used for numbers too.
